Each year, the grade 6 environment leaders take part in the Kids Teaching Kids program. This involves them researching a chosen topic about an environmental issue and creating activities and a short lesson which they teach to students at the school. They also share this lesson with other schools participating in the program at a special Kids Teaching Kids day.
Check out our fantastic short animation created by the BVPS Environmental Leaders for the Kids Teaching Kids program. The students presented this video to other students at the Nobbies Centre, Phillip Island and then quiz students about the benefits of planting trees on farms.
